Engineered infrastructure for aviation operations

Aircraft protection and maintenance infrastructure: hangars, MRO structures and rapid-deploy aviation facilities for civil aviation, helicopters, UAV operations, governments and defence contractors.

Approach

Infrastructure designed around the aircraft and the mission

Every hangar starts with a question: which aircraft, which operations, which maintenance regime. Door dimensions, clear height, span and building services are designed from that - not the other way round.

The approach works equally well for airport operators, private aviation, MRO companies, government institutions and defence contractors.

Applications

What we build

Civil aircraft hangars

For commercial and private aircraft: storage, basing, line maintenance.

Business aviation

Representative-class hangars with office and client areas.

MRO & maintenance

Maintenance and repair buildings with services engineered for technical regimes.

Helicopter hangars

Compact shelters and bases for rotary-wing aircraft.

UAV & drones

Infrastructure for storage, maintenance and operations of unmanned systems.

Temporary airport facilities

Terminals, ground-handling warehouses, GSE equipment shelters.

Rapid-deploy infrastructure

Demountable structures for temporary and mobile aviation operations.

Maintenance workshops

Technical and repair rooms within hangar complexes.

MRO

Turnkey MRO hangars

Together with our partner Spantech (Belgium), a global leader in modular construction, we design and build full-scale modular MRO hangars - from line-maintenance stations to multi-bay heavy-check complexes. The truss frame is pre-assembled into large blocks on the ground and lifted into position, so construction takes months rather than years and needs no concrete walls.

Along with the structure we deliver everything that turns a hangar into a workplace: aviation doors sized for the largest aircraft, overhead cranes, compressed-air systems for aircraft jacks, safety lines for over-wing and fuselage work, fire detection and suppression to applicable codes (incl. NFPA 409), HVAC, offices and crew rooms.

  • Narrow-body hangars for the A320/B737 class: typical span 40-60 m, apex height 14-17 m.
  • Wide-body for A350/B777 and similar: span 75-100 m, height 21-30 m.
  • Multibay multi-bay complexes with spans from 100 m for mixed fleets.
  • Codes engineered around the operator's aviation requirements and local building codes.
Engineering

Doors, loads, services

  • Aircraft doors width and height for the specific aircraft type, sliding and lifting solutions.
  • Wind and snow loads calculated by location according to the Eurocodes.
  • Envelope insulated and non-insulated variants, daylight inserts.
  • Building services heating, ventilation, lighting, electrical, fire safety.
  • Installation supervised assembly or turnkey crews, minimal foundation requirements.
  • Relocation structures can be dismantled and moved to a new location.
Process

From brief to operations

Send us a project brief: aircraft type or dimensions, location, operational requirements and target dates. We will come back with a concept, a preliminary calculation and a commercial offer.

Exact technical parameters of every solution are confirmed by engineering documentation - we do not publish numerical limits that are not backed by calculations.
